Slip stitch, chain 3, 2 double crochet into the next double crochet of the round below. *Chain 1, 3 double crochet into the next space**. Chain 1, skip the next double crochet, and make 3 double crochet into the next double crochet below. Repeat from * to ** all the way around, and when you come around to the first stitch of the chain 3 that started the round, single crochet into it. You should end up with ten groups made up of 3 double crochets. Just read your pattern stitch by stitch and it will make sense as you work along stitch by stitch.
