Hi I got A question if somebody can help me out with? I had A hard time getting A job cause of my background?

I had two Misdemeanor's? From year's ago? One was for (Battery) & other for (Obstruction of Justice)? Well I went to the Court's & got them both dismissed? Now my question is I applied for this job and got interviewed and gotta attend 2nd one on Tuesday? But on the Application it Says Have you ever been convicted of A Felony? Didnt say nothing about Misdemeanors is that ok I put no? Also it says "please dont disclose conviction's, that have been erased, sealed, annulled, expunged, or pardoned." Doesnt mention dismissed but does dismissed fall into or mean any of those words? Hey real quick I got another question? i know I should be honest but my friend's mom is A Human Resource does hiring she says never volunteer information inless they ask is that true? Thanks.
