Why should we keep the Electoral College?!?

We shouldn't. It is something whose time has come and gone.....long ago. ADDED.....to all those who keep giving thumbs down to the anti-electoral college answers...do some research. Find out why it was created, what it actually does and then think about whether it is really something we still need. Don't be sheeple....think for yourself.
