Are the Republicans trying to instigate a dictatorship?

I mean, they seem intent on bankrupting the country, turning over all the resources to a few power elite and impoverishing everybody except a select few. That was the exact same situation that Hitler engineered in Germany to propagate such a crisis that the people agreed to a dictatorship in desperation. We have a recession and the GOP seems hellbent on driving every homeowner in the US into bankruptcy and slavery.
