Fred Thompson (not currently running) now listed as 3rd in the Rep polls and gaining. Wasup?

He's great!!! For me it's either McCain or Fred Thompson. They would make a good Rep. ticket. Who knows? Fred has friends in both parties and would leave Hillary and Obama in the dust. GO FRED!!!!!
