Need for Speed Carbon Error?

First, make sure your video cable connecting from your Monitor to the PC is plugged in all the way. If this is okay, try finding out what dimensions your game runs in. Is it 800x600? 1280x1024? I know if my computer dimensions go further then 1600x1200, then my Monitor won't run right anymore. The problem is to change the dimensions, you may HAVE to be on the game. If you think this is the problem, try right clicking your shortcut for the game, and clicking and click properties. Then click the "compatibility" tab. Check the box that says "Run in *x* screen resolution, as * representing whatever the dimensions are. If this doesn't work, it could just plain out be a graphical error with the game.
