I love singing and making songs..Will i be fine?

Well im a paranoid type of person very actually,and yesterday iwas outside with my friend angela and we were playing around basically wrestleing and she was jokeing around too and put me in a head lock for a few seconds on my throat {that i easily got out of haha} and kind of put pressure on my throat it didn't hurt but it was basically a quick choke. Will my singing voice be fine? i love to sing and write lyrics and i dont want to sound bad all of a sudden. I haven't recorded myself in a while but do you think ill sound any different from that just happening?
